Ive never seen that ad before, but based on the changing graphic, it will be release on 4/26.
How much horsepower is 426? That really will be drag track only.

The guesstimates are in 560 range for naturally aspirated. Rumor mill is all over the place like track only, crate only etc.
More problem than emissions is fitting it into the lineup without it killing the models that surround it.
Maybe they'll stuff it into a Cuda...new platform. Who knows.

I highly doubt this motor on the platforms will kill anything around it, I wager not as many people will buy these as did the Hellcats. This will be more expensive, specialty, drag only. 560 with a supercharger? Cant drive that on the street practically. The part that bugs me is that people will still try to get more out of the motor.
But I gotta admit, Dodge SRT team is leading the way with this production segment, more power to 'em!
For a very fast car, with tons of HP, an automatic is so much better. I love rowing around town in my 5 speed Mustang, but the two drag/sometimes street Foxes we are building will be both automatics. Simply more consistent, and also, you couldn't shift as fast as a good automatic will in the short period of time you are accelerating. 95% of drag cars run automatics for that reason

No, 560 is naturally aspirated....of course you coiuld drive that on the street practically...Hellcat owners do at 707hp so 560hp is certainly doable.
Dodge has done a fantastic job of making very driveable HP/Torgue monsters.
