I think I asked this before, not quite sure if it got answer... Don't they have a pool or water area down by Sawyer Park on the Cincy riverfront?

It's been YEARS since I was down at the riverfront, but they used to have a waist-deep pool/concrete fountain area just below One Lytle Place that you could access via Yeatman's Cove. It used to have a large pipe that would spray water down onto people, as well as steps you could climb that led to "floating" concrete "lily pads" you could walk across at the top. Not sure if it's still open, or even still there.

If I am thinking of what you are thinking of shy, I believe last year it was empty but I haven't been down to Yeatman's this year.

It's still there and still hoppin.

No lillypads now and it's more of a fountain than anything ... something for kids to play in.

Default How are you staying cool this summer?

By staying indoors, wearing as least amount of clothing as I can around my 11 year old. Blasting the AC and having fans blowing the AC around the place. Drinking hot coffee, they say it cools your body down, keeping my blinds down so no sun gets into my apartment that will make it even hotter. I hope this heat wave doesn't ruin it for the usual fall season we have here in Massachusetts. I would hate it to be ruined with this intense heat wave. Even worse the winter, I love the snow, blizzards are awesome, watching them, walking in them, making snow angels, having snowball fights!!!

I miss Sunlite Pool, although my skin is probably thanking me for no longer spending 4 or 5 days a week basking in the sun.
