Not exactly a VERSUS topic but I am visiting Cinci for the first time late November this year and want to know what to expect. What hotels, entertainment, sports, and other activities do you recommend inside the city?

Thanks a ton in advance

Go Bills!

Entertainment for a family or more adult oriented (not meaning strip clubs). There are many options for hotels downtown and around the city and a lot to see and do. If you have sports in mind, we have the Bengals, the Cyclones for hockey, and the University of Cincinnati for college football. We are big in the college hoops and both Cincinnati and Xavier will start play soon.

Well, I'd hop on cincinnati.com and check out music events for the week you are here. If you stay at one of the hotels downtown, you'll be close to many bars and restaurants. There are quite a few between 5th-8th streets between Race and Main. I'd check out Yelp.com for suggestions there. There is Bartini's that has Salsa every Wednesday. The Southgate house across the river is a great venue for music. You can take the Newport bus over there if you don't want to drive/no car. The Kentucky bus system is called Tank, and the Newport bus can be picked up on 5th street across from "fountain square." On the Newport side there is also a big entertainment mall of sorts, with additional restaurants, a game arcade type place, movie theatre and more bars.
Back on the Cincinnati side, you have musuems, tons of great restaurants (Jeff Ruby's for an expensive but well worth it steak), art galleries on main, etc. What kind of entertainment do you like? I can't help you with the sports stuff though.
