I am looking for a very friendly ice cream place that serves both hard and soft ice cream for an experiment that my daughter is trying to do for her first science fair. She needs someone who would be willing to weigh and/or measure ice cream for us. She wants to examine if the hard ice cream or the soft ice cream would melt faster. They also need to be OK with us sitting there for a while and taking photos as the ice cream melts.

The closer to Mason the better. Thanks for your assistance!

Soft serve and hard huh? You are asking for a lot. But give Culver's a try, though I believe their soft serve is actually yogurt rather than ice cream.

you can try calling them to see if they have both styles of ice cream:

Olde Towne Ice Cream & Candy
226 Front St
New Richmond, OH

Sorry, I forgot Culver's specialty is frozen custard, not ice cream.

Wrong time of year, or I would recommend the Cone over in Maud (intersection of Cincinnati Dayton and Tylersville). Being family owned I am sure they would welcome you, but unfortunately they close in the winter. Similar comments for the Whippy Dip in Mason on main street. The soft serve may be a problem at this time of year.

Isn't that what I said when I corrected myself in the preceding post?
