I was suprised they let them go back through Downtown and across the bridge back into Kentucy. I figured they would have taken them to jail. That is not a trip back I would like to take on that thing lol.

Love how the cop called it their "walk of shame." If I would have seen them on the streets, I probably would have shouted "Look at those dorks!"

I actually think the show is horrible for Cincinnati's image. For Cincinnatians, it's much easier to keep the show in context than it is for outsiders. But this show is broadcast nationally. And for people who have never been to the city, nothing about this show makes them want to visit, let alone move here. In fact, it actually reinforces a lot of the stereotype of the city that you hear from people who live as close as Mason and Westchester. It doesn't help that when the officers narrate segments of the show they talk about Avondale and OTR as if they're war zones.

Cincinnati obviously has its share of crime among other issues. But this show essentially takes that aspect of the city and puts it on a national stage. Meanwhile the culture, art, history, and everything that makes the city great is ignored -- that is apart from the plugs at the end of each episode where the officers pat themselves on the back for making the city better.

I have the utmost respect for what law enforcement does on a day to day basis. But I feel that for every episode, the officers are doing the city a disservice by glamorizing everything that keeps people from wanting to live here.

I like this person's post. All the rest seem to use the philosophy everyone knows all cities are riddled with crime and this show at least gives Cincy some character and makes it appear less sinister. Now that is a great vote of confidence for a city, come here because it is not as bad as where you could be. Our local media does a good enough job daily of portraying the city as a war zone, no outside help is needed.

I enjoy the show. I would never judge an entire city from watching a police show. That's just moronic.

Nobody wants to watch a reality show about families living on a nice cul-de-sac in Mason. Or one profiling the lives of five members of the May Festival Chorus. Well, maybe you could make it work. But the cop and lowlife shows are a proven successful formula.

Ozzie and Harriet. It was a hilarious show, and very watchable.

I cannot understand why a society with so much trouble, angst, crime and jeopardy wants to see more of it on TV.

I like comedy.
