I was going to go up there for breakfast some time. Had it on my "to do" list. Maybe I'll skip it now.

This is exactly why people should rally around Tucker's, contrary to what kbrill says. If you give in and let the thugs take over, businesses leave, residents leave, and the punks win.

I only meant Tucker's does not need the rally around - they will survive. This could have happened anywhere. What is important is the perpetrators be apprehended. It is the neighborhood which needs to be vindicated, not a single business.

This isn't a suburban stucco Starbucks. It's been there through the worst of times and will hopefully be there for the best of modern times. Any longtime business in a revitalized urban neighborhood at a crucial turning point needs as much support as possible, especially during a "OTR is still dangerous" PR opportunity in the media (and between 3 reality and non-reality TV shows, there's no shortage of them) such as this.

Vindicating neighborhoods not businesses? Maybe at the 2 year old PF Changs in Mason. Whatever.

With all these bank robberies in Hyde Park and Mt Lookout, maybe David Kelley and his bizarre CGI version of the Cincinnati skyline should relocate his new Katy Bates six-shootin' lawyer drama to the east side instead of "OTR".

My hipster friends in Brooklyn, while paying rents in the 3000's, hear it all the time from the old local store owners - "Man, you shoulda been here when this was a bad neighborhood".

Brooklyn real estate taxes are a progressive gold mine. John Boner, his stooge Kasich, and that clown trying to spend $400K to shout down the streetcars just don't understand Trickle Down real estate economics, lol.

huh? Man you went all over the place with that one.

Anyways, I read that the 18 year old is expected to be paralyzed from the chest down. I really hope this is not the case.
