We're being relocated to Cincinnati, are pretty set on Mason and will have a daughter in kindergarten Fall '11. We are moving from a district with full day kindergarten which worked great for our son.

The 1/2 day kindergarten won't work for our family since we both work so I'm curious if anyone has recommendations on private kindergarten options in Mason or what other families with two working parents have done for kindergarten.

The district has sent me a list of daycare options, but I'm leaning toward private kindergarten and having her start in the district in first grade.

Help, please!

There was a mandate for full day kindergarten in Ohio beginning fall 2011. But I just read where Mason has requested an exemption based on economic hardship. I also read where the full day kindergarten requirement is likely to be rescinded statewide due to the drop in state funding.

There is a new private school in Mason, Mars Hill Academy on Aero Drive which states they offer full day kindergarten. They describe themselves as a Classical and Christian School. I have to admit I don't know precisely what that is.

Here are a few more in Mason you might check out:
Royalmont Academy - Western Row Road
Mayerson Academy - Duke Boulevard
Primrose School - Snider Road

Also, not too too far away in Symmes Township is Children's House (11161 Montgomery Road). My daughter attended the school and I was very impressed by it.
