I'm a married female that has lived in Cincinnati all my life. I'm at a point in my life where I need a some new friends. Past friends have children or got married and pretty much went their seperate way, or no longer have anything in common. At 37 I need more than going to the club with the girls. Where are the ladies that like to shop, into living a healthy lifestyle, movie goers, and just like to get together and have fun?

There's plenty to do in Cincinnati... but I guess it depends on your interests. If you're into seeing plays or concerts... Cincinnati's a great place.

I'd surf the net for "cincinnati kickball" there is a sports association that has a lot social athletic events. Have you tried taking a yoga or pilates class? Are you hanging in hip owner operated coffee houses?

Thanks, I didn't know about cincinnati kickball. I will look into that. I'm currently taking a belly dancing class, which is quite interesting but fun. I don't know of any hip owner operated coffee houses, where would I find them?

Cincinnati has several really great museums. From art to Natural History to the Planetarium. Some friends and I are going the the "Creation" museum Sunday, it looks interesting.
Professional sports! I heard we're going to be getting a professional football team!
Stroll along the river bank (Ohio or KY side). Hike on the parks. There's even a rock climbing wall I've been to.
Lots of wonderful eateries! And breweries!
Theater! I love the Broadway series! And many of the suburbs have their own community theaters.
Kings Island.
The Zoo! (really awesome)
The Beach waterpark.
When you get through all of that, let me know and I'll think or more things for you to do!

Well, since you've lived here all your life, it's probably safe to assume you know about the Beach and the zoo.

What about trying some of the bigger civic volunteer groups, like the Downtown Council or Enjoy the Arts? Or volunteering for a cause that you believe in? Do you have any skills you could lend to a nonprofit? Or a book club in your neighborhood?

Uhhh "coffee houses " in the phone book might be a good start.
If your looking for names I'd give Kahldi's, Stillwells, and Sidewinder a try.
