How long will it take me to get to and from work each way if I live in Madeira?

What about further out like Mason?

Will it be traffic the whole way?

What is cincy traffic like? Is it stop and go? 20-40 mph? What's the deal?

Thanks!

typical downtown commute time from Madeira is probably 20-30 minutes if you can park close to work. that is a good commute time for the suburbs and Madeira is considered to have a very "central" location. Mason is an hour. Traffic the whole way.

Madeira should take you between 20 and 25 minutes. Mason will take longer.

So much depends on the traffic conditions, the weather, and accidents. The number of main arteries to downtown is limited.

If traffic is flowing normally, I can make it from my home in Mason to the CVG Airport, a distance of 43 miles in under 45 minutes. If anything goes wrong such as an accident blocking the bridge, etc. the same trip can take well over an hour and a half. During a late day snowstorm resulting in icy roads I have experienced it at well over 2 hours, and as much as 3.

Having lived in Madeira for years, the downtown commute of 12.5 miles can range from a low of 17 minutes to a likely rush hour average of around 25 minutes. From Mason the commute of 24 miles can range from a low of 33 minutes to a likely rush hour average of around 50 minutes.

But again be forewarned the averages can be stretched extensively by either accidents or weather conditions which disrupt the traffic flow. My comments on rush hour times are based on the typical slowdown resulting from traffic conjestion, entrance/exists, etc.
