The 1/4 mile is in reference to the city limits. That's how far I live outside of the city limits where I currently live and I love it. It's quite at night and pretty much crime-free. I was born and raised in Chicago and I'm ready to get back to the city life. I choose Cincy for many difference reason like low crime rate, size and career opportunities for me to use my degree just to name a few. Thanks for your help.

for reasonable rents and quiet, consider the northeast part of the city proper and environs...pleasant ridge, kennedy heights, silverton, and deer park. you also get a lot for your money in the eden park area of walnut hills. you would be right on the edge of an amazing park but also nearby some not so nice areas (but not in them).
