I will be driving from Milford to CVG airport (starting around 4:45 - 5:00 pm on a Friday afternoon in a few weeks). What is the best route so as to minimize traffic delays (if at all possible; I realize there will be some delays)?

Here are the routes I am considering:

A. I-275 South/West all the way (there is a work zone on this stretch)
B. US-50 West to Columbia Parkway to I-471 South to I-275 West
C. US-50 West to Columbia Parkway to I-71/75 South to I-275 West
D. OH-126 West (through Indian Hill/Madeira) to Kenwood Rd
to I-71 South to I-471 South to I-275 West

I would appreciate any and all input. Thanks.

I like "C". I-275 the whole way is too circuitous. I-471, I tired recently and prefer to just stay on 71 (471 diverts you somewhat).
Columbia parkway at that hour you will be mostly against rush hour until you get to 71, then you will probably have some pain, but I would still pick that route from Milford.

OK, I may try that route. However is I-71/75 south (heading away from downtown) more congested at that time than I-471 south?

Yeah, it probably would be, but I'm not certain you'd save time anyway. Maybe someone else could comment on 71 south over the river at rush hour on a friday
