I am 22 years old moving to cinci for work. I was wondering where would be a good place to live that I could meet people who are similar to my age and also safe. I have heard Mt Adams is good but ive heard a lot of mixed reviews on the downtown area as well as hyde park

There is very little to rent in Mt. Adams and it will be very expensive.
Hyde Park is the place to live. Centrally located, safe and lots to do especially for a 20 something. About half of the residents in HP rent and there is vast diversity of socio economic strata there. You will find that rents run from 500 to many thousands and that you can be safe and convenient for $700, in luxurious space for twice that and every option in between. Tell us your budget and how you will get around and we can suggest choices.

I was looking for anything less then $1200 preferably less then $1000. I will have a car so I can drive but I do enjoy traveling by bike and walking.

In addition to Hyde Park and Mount Adams, you may also want to consider Mount Lookout, Oakley, Pleasant Ridge, Clifton Gaslight and downtown (The Banks, Gateway, etc.)

You will find a nice spot at that price range in HP. As stated above, look at the other nearby choices of Mt. Lookout and Oakley. My. Lookout = HP. They are interchangeable. Oakley is maybe a little more hip a little less upscale.
Are you male or female? Do you need a gym and a pool? Do you want inside parking or on the street ok?

Cincy is a challenge for cycling with all of the hills. Desirable places in Clifton Gaslight may be filled up with the school year coming up. I would recommend Hyde Park, Mt. Lookout, Oakley as being the safest areas with plenty to do, and they are adjacent to each other. You did not indicate where the workplace is, but if downtown you can consider using a bus to save on parking fees.

Bicycling is dangerous in Cincinnati. I also love to bicycle, and I try to bicycle to work when I am able. However, it is not for the faint of heart. Motorists seem to despise bicycles and they rarely give you more than a foot when passing you. In the dozen or so times I have taken my bicycle to work this summer, I have had things thrown at me three times, not to mention the harassment and honking of horns. I am even careful not to hold up traffic by riding below the speed limit when there is only one lane of traffic going in my direction. It is a lot better out in the suburbs, but in Clifton, Avondale, Roselawn, Bond Hill, Evanston, Norwood, and other places I often ride I can tell I am clearly unwelcome on the road.

I am male, I am looking for a gym but also interested in joining the rowing club. It looks like biking will not be good to travel but that is fine. Thank you everyone for all of your help.

HP is now filled with biking lanes on some major arteries. But the advice you go was good advice. Stick to recreational biking. HP is the center of the universe on this and may other things. There is a regular biking group that meets in Ault Park and there is a race in Ault Park. And many bike lanes around Ault PArk. soon (but not yet) the Loveland Bike Trail will be extended to access easily from HP. for now, why not move where you can walk to most amenities. Madison Road from Grandin to Oakley square is covered with affordable apartments and totally walkable and on a bus line that takes you down town every 15 minutes. Or, consider the many apartments in Mt. lookout around the
