I am looking at relocating my family to the area. I would have a full time job in Milford and also be involved in Maineville. I am looking on info for the areas between Milford and Maineville. I have 4 young children, so schools are a biggie. Any advice you have would be appreciated.

Loveland is about as in-between as you can get. I have friends that have children in all three school districts (Kings, Loveland, Milford) and they all seem reasonably educated.

I'm not a fan of cornfield subdivisions, of which there are many in the area, so I'd choose to live in one of the towns. Loveland and Milford both have larger core towns than Maineville.

Milford elem schools are awesome with loving, caring teachers. We have a girl with adhd and boy with adhd and many learning disabilities. I can't do justice to the teachers and principal of Meadowview elementary. Want a school where the principal, secretary, nurse, and teachers know all the kids by name? Ours just finished k thru 6 there and were very sad to leave. They also have a pta and parents who really care and find so many things for the kids (and parents) to look forward to.

Prior post is a rousing recommendation for Milford schools. Maineville is in Little Miami School District which is currently in financial straits. Main problem is no commerical or industrial base to help support schools coupled with rapid subdivision development. Maineville is a nice residential area but I would recommend Loveland or Milford as each are much older and not as subject to the problems of rapid development.

Default re: Milford

If you want good schools and a great neighborhood next to Milford, Terrace Park is just across the bridge. It has its own elementary school and otherwise the excellent Mariemont school district. It is extremely safe and pleasant.
