I remember hearing somewhere that there were guided tours of the OTR neighborhood. From my understanding, the area is still a bit dangerous, but remarkably beautiful. Since I'm not familiar with the city, I figured a guided tour was the way to go.

Can anyone give me any info/links about these tours? Any advice is appreciated(when is the best time to to tour, etc).

Thanks!

This past summer I went on the OTR Lagerhouse Brewery tour with my dad. It was a very interesting look at the history of German brewing and brewery architecture in CIncinnati. If you like history and brewing, I highly recommend it. Here is the link if you are interested. OTR Brewery District | Cincinnati, OH

If you want a tour that is more intimate, and has a bit less hype, but you will learn a ton about Cincinnati history and architecture...

http://cincinnati-walks.org/

They conduct these in the morning before most of the "open air markets" are in business.

This is the time of year for this tour and it hits a lot of the historic OTR stops that are associated with ghosts, spirits and specters.
