I'm coming from the north east and heading to Coney Island. Google map tells me to take the 71 but to me taking the 275 makes more sense.

I'm staying at the Hilton on West 5th street, should I use their valet service or save myself some money and use the parking garage across the street?

I have no plans during the day on the 4th, anything I should see/do while I'm in town?

Thanks in advance.

If you have a ton of luggage, or if you'll be needing to get your car in and out a lot, use the valet service.

If you're staying put downtown for the duration, use the garage.

Are you going straight to Coney when you arrive in town, or are you going to Coney from downtown?

Actually I guess I didn't need to ask that question since I'll be going to the hotel before going to Coney Island. I do have another question about the amphitheater there, are there seats along the outer edge or is it all just grass?

Thanks for your help.

If you have general admission lawn seats, you're in the grass behind the pavilion. There's a nice patch of grass to the right of the pavilion, but you'll get chased off.

Take mosquito repellent. Just sayin'.

It appears where you are headed is Riverbend Music Center. It is a very nice venue. But considering what is coming up weather wise, be sure and take plenty of mosquito repellent, you are next to the river after all. Also make sure you have plenty of liquids. Since you are staying downtown with no specific plans during the day, I would just meander through the parks along the river. You could start out early in the day visiting some of the parks and overlooks on the KY side of the river. Come back to the Cincy side and visit Eden Park plus others along the river. Get a feel for what life is like here in Cincinnati. Gradually work your way east out to Riverbend. Above all have a good time.

Somewhere along the line I would definitely visit the Lager House plus other establishments in the Banks you will be close to. May be some places to consider to eat before heading further east to Riverbend. Would be a shame to come to Cincy and not see our latest and greatest.

Some information about what you can and cannot take to Riverbend as well as information about seating and parking. I would hate to see you plan and arrive and then not be able to take what you have along into the venue.

Riverbend Music Center - Greater Cincinnati's Concert and Event Venue.

Have not established when you expect to arrive in Cincinnati. All you stated was you will go to the hotel prior to Coney Island. If you are coming in that day, depending on the arrival time, consider this. After checking in to the hotel, consult your map and drive out Columbia Parkway and Kellogg Ave. to Coney Island. We are expecting 90+ temperatures that day. Bring your swim suit and go to Sunlite Pool at Coney Island, the world's largest recirulating pool. Cool off and then redress for Riverbend. They basically share the same parking lot so gong from Coney to Riverbend is a mox-nix. Riverbend will just have some gates where you must display your tickets.

I'll be leaving the Niagara area of Ontario around 8:00 Tuesday morning so we should be arriving around 4-5 PM hopefully. Probably Wednesday will be our day to explore before the concert. Thanks to everyone to the links, info and suggestions.

Tickets are GA at Moonlite Gardens, is that the outdoor, grass covered amphitheater?
