Default Mobile with Broadband

I will be moving to Cincinnati this fall and I need a mobile with which I can also access hi speed internet.
Any suggestions? My first choice is Cincinnati Bell.

Verizon is advertising very heavily in this area, but I have no idea how they stack up to Cincinnati Bell.

Hi saggitarianamit--

If you intend to stay in the Cincinnati area, then Cincinnati Bell is a great choice, even for 3G/4G, which I've had no problem with. I'd watch, as with any company, about signing for any 'auto-pay' feature, however: Cincinnati Bell is on my list of 'I'm going to examine every damn bill before I send you a dime' because the bill is screwed up about one time in three, always in their favor. They've always adjusted it properly, though, and even given me a credit once, so I've stuck with them.

If you travel a lot for work or you're going to spend any serious amount of time outside the I-275 ring (except the north side, which is good), then you'll want to look elsewhere for 3G service. This is especially true as you go north beyond Middletown - although Cincinnati Bell claims most of Dayton is within their 3G service area (and is according to their map), I would beg to differ; service in Dayton is absolute rubbish. It's good downtown, but forget about the suburbs (esp. Beavercreek).

As to Verizon, I have a long story about them: suffice it to say their over-billing and refusal to adjust cost them two AirTouch customers. (Yeah, we'd been with them that long.)
