Was walking down 7th the other day and remembered how much I love this little building

It's only 8 or 9 feet wide and was clearly built at a different time than the rest of the building, though they are all one parcel now.

Here's to hoping this one never sees the wrecking ball!

I don't think I have ever noticed that before. I'll have to check it out in person.

My favorite building downtown is still the Germania building on the SW corner of 12th and Walnut. Very ornate and the Germania statue is just amazing work.

I've also never noticed that either, but it's awesome! I've always thought that building looks straight out of some English hamlet with a street level pub. What a gem! I'd love to see that entire nothern side of the block be converted into strictly residential.
