Need info on good Apartments with some decent Indian population around (Cincinnati: neighborhoods, live)

Hello all,

I will be moving to Cincinnati in 2nd week of Jan 2012 and need some suggestions on decent apartments around. Any suggestions, was looking to find out where telugu population lives in Cincinnati, but could not get any info in the internet.

I'm not aware of any residential pockets that have a concentrated Indian population in Cincinnati. I don't think this is much of an indicator, but there are a couple of Indian grocery markets at the US42 interchange on I-275 in Sharonville. This probably has more to do with attractive rents and space than anything else.

Several times there have been mentioned on this forum the Indian grocery markets at US42 and I-275. I personally have not attempted to validate what is there, a single market? etc. I frankly just find Sharonville to be a rather odd place for an Indian concentration.

I believe the Clifton area should have a relatively good representation of Indian immigrants, as a good percentage of them are trained in the medical sciences.

Also, Flashes and I keep remarking how many Indian, Middle East, and the old Indo-China people are finding their way to Mason. I am not about to say there are neighborhoods which form an enclave, seems to be more a spreading out around town, likely based on opportunity to purchase, rent, etc.

Contact your ethnic societies around Cincinnati. They should have the most up to date information on where you will find the cultural conditions you are looking for.

Clifton Gaslight and to a lesser degree, CUF. You might want to call Indian restaraunts along Ludlow Ave and talk to them. Most, if not all, are run by Indian families.

I don't know, maybe you should just get in the car and drive by yourself. One of them is called Patel Brothers and is apparently part of a rather large national chain of Indian grocers. I would assume that they do some demographic research before locating somewhere. Look it up if you don't believe me.

It is not I don't believe you, I just find it a rather strange location for an Indian market complex. I have just not visualized an Indian community in the Sharonville neighborhood. If they are there, why do we never get any responses from the locals stating we are here and this is how you can get in contact with us? You would think when others inquire they would respond, unless C-D is just beneath their dignity.
