Certainly enjoyed the article and pictures. SOB was a unique ride and it is too bad it had some flaws they could never figure out to overcome.

Some of those pics were breathtaking. I can only imagine what it would have been like to scale that thing.

It was a fun ride, that's for sure. After a few years it did get VERY rough though. I remember the safety bar would ratchet down another notch after every big bump until it started cutting off my circulation.

Still sad to see it go. Hopefully they can replace it with something just as memorable.
