I'll be at a house party in Anderson. Huge basement projection TV, Larosa's pre-game and a fridge stocked with ice-cold Yuenglings and other brews.

I was really hoping the Browns would wallup the Steelers. It just was not to be. I guess the playoffs were out of the question either way for them.

Well, if I jinxed the Bengals, I apologize. I was watching the game at the local sports bar with a friend. Pretty much no one around here knows that the American Football Conference even exists, so it was a pretty sparse crowd.

No, you didn't jinx them. They went and did what they know best - lose in the first game of the playoffs.

And, ya - in the north east no one knows there are other teams battling for supremacy.

...when one mediocre force confronts a less mediocre force, the results will always be predictable;

...there's always next year;

...we're building (Marvin Lewis);

Only in the Bengals organization can the head coach of a losing team be awarded a two year contract extension.
