Hi Sunnydee,
Any chance you have similar knowledge on Northern KY - Covington? We're moving in and have targeted a school down there but are looking for recreation and a nice neighborhood.
Thanks!
Lisanew

Based on where you would be working, I would suggest Mariemont. It is close to Cincinnati Children's and excellent.
If you don't mind a commute, I live in Liberty Twp and love it...large lots, excellent schools, walking trails, parks, etc. and houses are appreciating very well -- the drive is about 45 minutes with traffic. Other areas that are good are all the ones mentioned above. The good thing about Cincy is there are a lot of great areas to live and raise a family. Even if you stay within city limits, they offer great private schools.

I am going to sound like a broken record. Wyoming is the way to go. You can get a very nice house in that price range with a very great school district and a safe community.
Children's is under 30 minutes. I volunteer there and at the Ronald Mc Donald house.

I hope you enjoy your work with CCH. It is a wonderful facility.

Best place to raise a family in Cincinnati. Schools are excellent. The Village is very safe (rated safest in Cincy). Bus access into downtown if needed. The Village of Terrace Park rates #1 as best place to live in the Cincinnati area in the local survey.

Take a look if you get a chance....
Terrace park is definitely nice....sort of 1950's Americana going on. All it needs is a local drug store with a soda fountain

Default Northern KY

Look for Villa Hills, KY -- great schools (public and private), Park Hills, Ft Mitchell, Ft Wright etc, -- if you like older quaint areas.

If you want all new stuff head farther south (I don't recommend for my tastes but lots of people love Florence, Union, Burlington).

My top choice is Kenton County (Park Hills, Villa Hills and Ft Mitchell) and then my 2nd choice is Ft Thomas in Campbell county.

good luck. BTW, I have a house in Villa Hills for sale. If your interested I am willing to sell by owner (my contract is up soon with realtor). Listed for 277k, 4 bedroom,3.5 bath.
