I suppose technically you're right. However, the "they" you're referring to is a spokesperson for the county government, as reported in the Enquirer--not a flawless news source, but not exactly some kind of rumor mill like you're making it sound. Given that the loan payback is recorded in legal documents, it would be too easy to catch a lie about it. I believe the loan was paid.

As I said on another thread, you don't lend any credibility to the cause of racial equality when you keep making excuses for people like Liz Rogers or suggesting that the circumstances of the latest restaurant closing bear in any meaningful way on the circumstances surrounding her fleecing of the taxpayers of Cincinnati. The only relevant thing in common is that both defaulted on their lease. That's really between them and their landlord.
