Default Is Fairfield a decent area?

I'm considering Fairfield or Fairfield Township. How are these areas?

they are okay, i can't think of anything that they stand out in but I also couldn't tell you anything they are deficient in either. Standard suburban area.

Standard suburban area, but on the way up! Good choice! Also consider West Chester, Liberty Township and Monroe. All growing (appreciating if you are buying) and easy access to expressways.

i agree. standard suburbia. fairfield is more bradybunchy and can be uppity. the twp is more rural/relaxed though it's being developed more and more every day.

the strangest thing is that not all jurisdictions report their crime statistics. Norwood for example, or green, sycamore, colrein townships, elmwood place aren't included in the fbi database, but mariemont and sivlerton populations both under 5k are

according the the fbi stats fairfield had 203 violent crimes for a population of 42k in 2006
St. bernard had 15 violent crimes for a population of 4.5k, mt adams had six violent crimes for a population of 1.6k

fewer per capita

My apartment in Fairfield got robbed. I was gone for a few days... when I came back there were three computers missing, the washer and dryer, and dishwasher were gone. Yes, they actually took the dishwasher from under the counter. I went and talked to the front office at my apartment building and they said that they had calls about my door being opened for two days and figured I had just skipped town. Nice.

Other than my apartment being robbed, Fairfield was a pretty blah kind of place. It was nice to be so close to Jungle Jim's. Other than that... it could have been anywhere.
