A pretty broad brush statement. First of all, Cincinnati is a huge difference from San Francisco. You will have to scale down your desires considerably.

My advice is Blue Ash/Montgomery/Symmes Township, all in the Sycamore school district. Good commute times to downtown and P&G. That is assuming your husband will be working downtown. But P&G has facilities spread all over Cincinnati so better check that. P&G has a large facility out near where I live in Mason. Definitely not downtown, but a great little city with geat schools and places to live.

If your husband will be working downtown, I will stick by my initial Blue Ash/Montgomery/Symmes Township recommendation. Good housing, good schools, and an easy commute to downtown.

Agree: I live in Blue Ash; Sycamore Schools are great; housing is quite good.

OP ...
Come back with some specific questions about the recommendations so far. Don't just run out there and go to sleep.

The schools we recommended, Sycamore Schools, are highly rated and can cover all your needs. Blue Ash and Montgomery are independent cities outside of Cincinnati. Symmes Township is as the name implies township. All three have some very nice housing and they share the same schools.

We stuck with the recommendation due to the very highly rated schools and also the fact the commute to downtown is easy.

OP ... Oh yes, far as safety, it doesn't get much safer than this. Do some online searches on the names, I believe you will realize why we have recommended it. Get back when you have a better idea of the area.

P & G has several locations in Cincinnati. Do you know which site he will be at?

She already said downtown. I think that suffices. I will standby our original proposal of Blue Ash/Montgomery/Symmes Township.

Great schools, great homes, absolutely great commute to downtown. If they want a more urban environment she can respond with same. Until then I will stick with same.

I think Blue Ash/Montgomery are very good suggestions for somebody coming from San Fran. I'm curious what the desired commute time is since she brought it up, if it's 20 minutes, then those suburbs are fine, if it's less than 10, than the poster would probably want to look at Hyde Park, Mt. Adams or Clifton. Wyoming would also be a good suggestion. Hyde Park is very big on toddlers lately, and a lot P&G families are already living there.
