The bulk of the traffic is going the other way.

Here is what it looks like this morning on the Kenwood hill:
Confused how? I only drive it EVERY morning.

Well, if you drive it every morning you would know there are rarely any delays anywhere on outbound 71 and almost never on the Kenwood hill.

Did you see the screenshots from this morning? Its a rainy Friday, only the worst possible scenario. I suppose that you mean having to slow to 60 mph is a delay?

The Oakley to Mason commute in the morning is a very easy one. Very few traffic delays providing you get past Pfeiffer Rd prior to all the traffic getting of going to the Blue Ash Industrial park. You can avoid the hastle around Fields Ertel Rd by simply staying in 71N to the Western Row exit. You can take Western Row or Tylersville across Mason to your destination.

The reverse evening commute is not quite as easy. Lots of traffic on I-71 in the evening, both north and south. You have to learn the time periods to avoid.

It doesn't compare by any stretch to the delays on 75 or getting across the bridge from Kentucky, but you are just flat out wrong.

If it's not sun delays in the morning between the Lateral heading toward Redbank, it's someone rear-ending someone going up the hill. It happens more frequently than you apparently have the experience to comment on.

That said, people from Chicago or Philadelphia would think our Cincinnati delays, even on 71 to be mere child's play. Even with the slow downs on northbound 71, if your total door to door commute from Oakley to Mason was more than 25-30 minutes, it would be exceptional.

Well, I posted a series of rush hour snapshots from a rainy Friday morning that showed no traffic. So, when you post up some traffic jams with no accident, I'll believe you.

I'm not going to waste much time fooling around with you because the OP already has the answer. But, here:

Shall we just say that traffic is a breeze going up the Kenwood Hill in morning rush hour?

Jeez Wilson, where have your pictures been for the last couple of days? Yesterday was bad (which I thought might be light since it was a holiday for some), today was worse. About 35 minutes from Taft to Pfeiffer. Traffic was wide open until Smith/Edwards, and from there to Ronald Reagan, never broke 30 mph. Dead stop at the bottom of the Kenwood hill, on the gas slightly then in the straight-away and then dead stop just on the other side of Stewart.

I know you will refuse to believe this, because of your desperate need to be right all the time, but the days you posted above, the traffic in all directions was much lighter than usual. Overall volume was noticeably lower than it is most weeks.

I wouldn't call my being right all the time as "desperate" . I'd call it experience combined with wisdom.
