Default River's bend

The River's Bend community is pretty nice. It's on US 48 just south of I71. The TCP golf course was built back in 2001. I believe all of the homes in that development have been built, but they have lots available in the development across the street, Vista Point, which enjoys all the membership privileges as well.

TPC at River's Bend - Amenities; Golf, Tennis, Swimming

I know of two that I have seen. Links of Heritage in Mason and Four Bridges in West Chester.

Not yet mentioned (I don't think) are Beckett Ridge and Wetherington north of town and Triple Crown in KY.

My info may be a little dated, but I think some of the country clubs in these communities are struggling a bit, as the private country club competition for members has become pretty stiff, as lots of clubs have come on line in the past ten years and only one that I know of has closed (Cresthills).

In my opinion, gated communities, like Wetherington, stand directly opposed to democracy. They are at best an inadequate remedy for poor neighborhood design and at worst legalized segregation by class.

Our neighborhood in Georgia was a planned community of 2000 homes. The prices ran from around 160,000 for a retirement type cluster to a 900,000 on the lake/course. There were 32 neighborhoods inside the community, each with their own architecture. It was it's own little city. Miles and miles of sidewalks to walk, several pools and hiking trails. The whole package. This is what we would like to find IF we get the chance to move to Cincy.
