I'd instead rank them in order of preference, since one person's cloud is another's silver lining.

So instead? If I were moving back to Cincinnati, in which five neighborhoods would I look for a home? This is based on what I can afford, of course.

1) Westwood
2) Oakley
3) Pleasant Ridge
4) Madisonville
5) CUF

it has been years since I moved out of Cincy, why isn't fairfield in the list? it was nice when I was there back in the mid 80s to early 90s.

The list of neighborhoods are ones in the city of Cincinnati. Fairfield isn't even in the same county as Cincinnati.

What CincyExpert said, but yes ... I don't think that Fairfield would be that desirable to outsiders.

fairfield has a higher violent crime rate than St. Bernard. I would recommend against it. If you are going to buy a house in the suburbs, any crime drops the property values precipitously
