CO to CINCI, many thanks for the link. It's a shame that so many people don't listen; it's not like drunken driving is some new concept... I deliver to Louisville from Ohio severa times a week and I pass that sign on I-71 (on both sides of the highway between the 40 and 41 mile markers in KY) that says: SITE OF FATAL BUSH CRASH, MAY 14, 1988. I believe it was 27 people that were killed, 30 or more injured on a bus returning from King's Island when a drunk driving a pickup came around the curve NB on the SB side. I'm sorry it doesn't mention the wreck was caused by drunk driving...

19th drunk driving conviction gets man 8 years in prison

19th drunk driving conviction gets him 8 years in prison...and his lawyer wanted the judge to order treatment instead of jail time. (By the way, he was driving with a suspended license.) Fortunately he didn't kill anyone yet. Unfortunately, some people want someone (everyone???) else to take responsibility for their actions.

jlrosen is on a distinguished road
people have been drinking throughout human history, DUI's have only been a problem since we decided on having the automobile as the only form of transportation. Better bus and rail service WILL SAVE LIVES

it would appear the government no longer approves of drinking and several
other offenses that used to be part of being a man. no more. you can be
busted out of the navy for fighting or drinking. adjust and adapt. losing your
license and having a record is just not worth it.
