Default Old house in Kenwood ??

Does anyone remember the old house on Kugler Mill road in Kenwood. It wasn't too far from the highway overpass. It was an old brick mansion built in the 1800's and was torn down in the late 1980's to build condo's.

This house had a long circular driveway and a water well in front of the house.

I'm wondering what the history of this house is, I wish they hadn't demolished it.
