Why is Pittsburgh in the large city category but Cincinnati is in the Mid sized category?

Pittsburgh is a bit larger. The city is 305,000 people while the MSA is 2,300,000 and the CSA is 2,600,000.

Cincy still has a population under 300,000 and the metro area is 2,100,000 and the CSA is around 2,200.000.

Perhaps for this study they define a large city as having over 300k within the city limits?

Probably because Steelers >>> Bengals. BOOM!

(I kid. Had to say it being the anti-Bengals fan I am though. Compliments on the great season regardless, but way too many ghosts of the '85' jailbird culture for me to ever be a fan of the Bun-gools).

Back on topic, thanks for the links.

Ratings from most places in this day and age are of little value except for the fact they keep people employed, but regardless Cincy is a great city and a great place to be a college student. There is tons of stuff to do all over the city! And I am very happy to see teh city get some recognition that it deserves.

Thanks for sharing.
