Are or Were? Vogue is the bar--its Springfield Twp which that area is patrolled rarely by them. Believe me, a lot of money is about to be put in the east side of Vine street for business district improvements, if only Springfield Twp would do the same thing on their side of Vine as they are doing up on Winton Road. They'd rather have everyone think that is Hartwell--which it is not.

I worked in Hartwell 2004-2006, and what I wrote about the prostitutes that work the parking lot at country fresh is true, I saw it myself, the manager at PNC bank was concerned enough with it to come across the street into Hartwell and give us a Heads up about the problem. I am not trying to picking out the negatives, I am sharing my opinions, isn't that the point of the forum? Employees at the surrounding business (Compton family care, the jewelry store, the barber shop etc) had made the same observations that I wrote in my post, ask them if you don't believe me. I am sure that Hartwell is benefiting from people like you who care about the neighborhood, and I agree the majority of the people are decent, but I think you are ignoring some of the realities that exist. And for the issue with the sex offenders, I am not sure who's fault it is, its unfortunate really, I don't know how to deal with it, I would not want to, that's one of the reasons that I would never live in Hartwell. This is the last time I am going to post about this subject, I think that the best way to deal with the problems that exist is to be honest with yourself, and to listen to what others have to say, I have nothing to gain by lying about my observations, and I don't really care who knows the neighborhood better, its not a competition, I also care about Cincinnati, and have many fond memories, that is why I took the time to write on this forum. Good luck!

Maybe all those businesses you mentioned would benefit by picking up the phone to call Springfield Twp police then or getting a group together to solve problems that come up....to the best of my knowledge, that no group has been formed.
And again, dont tell me I am ignoring the realities that exsist, that would be others who choose not to get involved by attending meetings or picking up a phone when they see something illegal or disruptive.

Who cares if prostitutes were seen somewhere? Really?

What is the difference between what they do and what thousands of women/men do at any given club or bar on any given Saturday night, except they're free versus receiving payment? Big Brother has more important things to do, than monitor what two people do behind closed doors.

DT ATL, uh no ... it's definitely not safer. lol

One arrested in Harper's Point shooting

I guess this challenges some stereotypes about where crime occurs and by whom. A 20 year old male black as the shooter in a dice game dispute in the heart of Montgomery:

Enquirer staff • June 6, 2009 Symmes Twp. - A man has been arrested in connection with an early morning shooting at the Harper's Point apartments.

Samuel Moore, 20, is charged with felonious assault. Police say the incident started as a result of an argument over a dice game.
Alan L. Smith, 33, remains in critical condition at Bethesda North Hospital.
At about 1:45 a.m., the Sheriff’s department received information that someone had been shot after a verbal argument near the clubhouse parking lot.
Friends were driving Smith to the hospital, then pulled over and called police to report the crime.
