And the latest reports say Marvin will stay. Of course, who would expect anything different from this falling franchise?

At least the Raiders won championships.

I'm a Bengals "fan", I use that term loosely. But yeah, they shot themselves in the foot. They lost, not me lol I'm not mad about it, they have to live with it and face the consequences. They could have won, but they did a lot of things wrong. Play clean and win clean. And as much as I dislike the Steelers, come on. Throwing trash at an injured human being? Pathetic. I feel bad for the fans (of any team) who let it control their emotions like that and ruin their entire week. We want the players to control their emotions when the fans, who hold no actual stakes, can't even be civil.

I just like a interesting game. It was boring at first and I figured the Bengals would choke. I just wish they could have lost with some dignity.

Ugh.

I have PTSD from this game. I'll never get over it. They could win the Super Bowl the next 5 years and I'd still look back at this game and just shake my head. So close...so close...just to be ruined by a fumble and Burfict.

So disappointing.

Hey Moderator cut: friend! I have attended Bengals games for over 40 years. I have never thrown anything on the field and I sit in the 2nd row in the endzone. Pretty classless of you to make your statement.

That's what makes the whole thing sad to me.

Way too many good fans out there like you for such a disgusting team. Our city deserves better.

Thanks, SWOH. We may differ somewhat on our view of the current team but there is no need for anyone to paint the entire fan base with such a wide brush.

I'd like to add something for those of you who may not be as close to the team as I am (as a fan) ...... the rivalry with the Steelers has become worse year by year. It has reached the point where I almost dread going to the home game against the Steelers. Their fans can be obnoxious and I have had to more than once ask people sitting behind me to quit waving their damn towels over my head. Boy ... that really p!sses them off and they just get worse. The players on the field hate each other and anybody who didn't expect some of the things that played out Saturday night just don't understand the current state of affairs. If I could be commissioner of the NFL for one day I would immediately place the Bengals and Steelers in different divisions. Playing each other 2 and sometimes 3 times a year is just too much and I think things will only get worse.

Folks who are on the hate Burfict bandwagon should understand something. For years the Bengals were the Steelers whipping boys. And everybody said that the Bengals needed to be tougher ... be like the Steelers with their intimidating physicality ("dirty players"). Well, the Bengals built a team that now has "dirty players" that can give as well as they can take and all of a sudden everyone is up in arms. Steeler fans are outraged. They certainly have short memories. And they certainly don't like a taste of their own medicine.

Sorry for the rant. I'm slowly getting over Saturday night's game. :-)

It makes no difference what Mikeyboy does. He still gets full check from NFL TV rights

Mikeyboy is laughing all the way to the bank, at our expense

That's how I felt watching the game on TV. I was so into it and so disappointed in the Bengals. I didn't even feel like watching football 12 hours after that (although I did)...I had enough.
