Small Town Near Blue Ash?
Good morning!
I am a 26 yr old single woman from Michigan, looking at a new place to call home. (I know, a Michigander thinking about Ohio, blasphemy!)
My company has an office in Blue Ash. Any recommendations for small towns in the area? I would like to avoid any commutes over 30 minutes. I'd love to find a place where I can own a few acres.
Thanks for your suggestions!

You might want to try Glendale ( The Village of Glendale, Ohio). It's a village, and feels like it. Lots are larger than in most comparable neighborhoods, and communite to Blue Ash is 15-20 minutes up Glendale Milford or Cooper Road.
Welcome to CIncinnati!

You're about fifty years late as far as being able to "own a few acres" in a "small town" within a hop skip and jump of Blue Ash. Pretty much all of the land well into Butler and Warren Counties has been turned into developments, and while many of the neighborhoods have homes with large yards you won't find a place where other signs of human habitation aren't visible. Greater Cincinnati is in the top ten nationwide when it comes to the "sprawl" issue.
If being "landed" ranks higher than a short commute time, you may be able to find multiple acres in an area that's at least semi-rural if you focus on the outer parts of Warren and Clermont Counties, also in Butler County west of US 27. If forsaking the "Green Acres" dream in favor of quick access to and from work, narrow your search to Sharonville, Blue Ash itself, Deer Park, Montgomery, Evendale, Mason, Reading, Loveland, Springdale, and West Chester. Glendale is a great place to live in also, but you have to have $$$.

Warren County - outside of Lebanon (mostly North) towards Waynesville. Lots of signs for 2 or 3 acre lots..
Lebanon, cute, small town.
Waynesville, cute, super small town.
I'm guessing about 1/2 hour commute to blue ash.

Some of the nearby (relatively) areas to look into with acreage include southeastern Warren County townships of Harlan, Washington or Salem; or Goshen, Stonelick, Wayne or townships in northeastern Clermont County.
You might be able to find something in Turtlecreek or Union townships around Lebanon, but those two are getting pretty built up. Sprawl indeed.
I'm not as familiar with the rural areas of Butler county, northwest of Blue Ash.
Glendale is a small town, all right, but you can't get acreage there and it's surrounded by similar suburbs. They done built it all up!

you probably won't find such a place. blue ash has some horrible traffic at times.
I recommend mariemont, you won't get land, but a nice, walkable town. 30 minutes away from blue ash, 20 minutes from downtown

Try Maineville... I have a home listed there for 165,000. All upgraded and large wooded lot. Maineville is near Kings Island.
