Go to Mio's.
It's not perfect, but it's better than LaRosa's.

Pomodori's & Trattoria is the best pizza in Cincy, hands down. They claim to be OH's first wood-fired pizza.

Never liked Pomi's. Crust is too thin.
Guess that's what keeps all these different places in business!

I moved to Akron two years ago and am so appauled by the terrible driving it's sickening! Everyone thinks they're so important; practically EVERYONE tailgates, and practically EVERYONE doesn't know what a turn signal is either. I think part of the problem is where I came from, the car insurance was so awfully expensive and here i'ts really cheap so no one really cares if they get in accidents or not.
Another baffling thing I find about Ohio, the people are the most unfriendly, uncaring people I've ever come across. No one introduced themselves to me (must be because I had a New York license plate) until 2 years later. And, as my grandmother used to say, "they can kiss my arse in Macy's window!"

Outside of city limits you can go into Butler County and get Richard''s and Chester's Pizza-they are not local chains!! It would be worth your drive, but Richard's is well-known for their hoagies. I am a La Rosa's baby, although my first introduction to traditional pizza was Angilos-quite tasty, yet very oily. I also think that Montgomery Inn BBQ sauce is horrible, but different tastes for different folks. Cannot tolerate dairy products, so could care less about any ice cream here in the city or anywhere. If you ask my children they would tell you UDF ice creams are the best. I am definitely a GOLD STAR chili fan. I am so happy that you can buy it from the grocery store now, so I can fix it the way I like. Gold Star was my first teenager job years ago when it was across the street from Shillito's!! Give me the chili, light spaghetti, cheese, onions, and hot sauce and you have a happy eater!!

The lack of any substantial gay community.
This is why people come down here from the northern two C's and swear they are in Kentucky or a bad WKRP episode. The Gay population is limp (purposeful pun) in Cincinnati.

Northside is a very artsy, cool place and I think it has a very substantial gay population.

Not that the following stat means they are gay, but Cincinnati has the largest percentage of same-sex residences out of all the 3C's. The census does track if there are two males living with each other at the same address for instance.

I thought he said there was a lack of substantial gay population... maybe I missed something.
