It certainly doesn't hurt to hear highly favorable news again...

Forbes has made old news new again by publishing the information in a recent report. Yesterday the Cincinnati Enquirer referenced this Forbes report in its own article, that for those interested can be found here:

Again, for the second year in a row, Cincinnati has been ranked the best city in the nation for new college graduates. The overall details were presented in today's Business Journal...

From the Business Journal...

"Cincinnati is a top city for recent college grads"

From the survey itself, Livability.com...
"You're probably not surprised to see Cincinnati on this list. After all, the city has graced similar lists in recent years, and it's well known as a thriving metropolis. But you may not realize just how cool the Queen City really is - and how perfect it is for new college grads."

I'm not surprised by these rankings. New York, Washington, San Francisco, etc. are so hideously expensive for everyone, including recent college graduates. In Cincinnati, you can get many of the same benefits for a better cost of living.

Plus a majority of the school systems are solid. I live in Savannah now but lived in Cincinnati for 20 years & had a conversation with a couple who moved here 2 years ago from Cincinnati. They now have two kids 3 & 5 & are going to move back within a year just because of how bad the schools are here.

Holding strong from #1 to #2. Hoping favorable news like this attracts more young talent to the city.
