As I understand it, the box seats in the balcony are the best seats, but already sold out for the event I'm interested in. Is front row at the Taft too close for a symphony performance?

I find the front row to be too close for anything besides a rock concert. I don't remember the Taft having a raked stage and I also don't remember how far back the front row is away from the stage.

Not much help,sorry!
