Too bad the image is missing. My dad used to work at the Federal Building on 5th & Walnut and used to eat there quite a bit. Whenever I and/or my sisters would visit him at his office for lunch, we would love to go there with him.
I would love to see the menu to reminisce.

Another place that was famous for fish and tarter sauce was the 5th floor dining room McAlpin's department store. Today, the Alabama Fish carry out on Elm st. is the cat's a$$ for fish, especially the deep fried cod. Never had any better, anywhere. But the tarter sauce leaves much to be desired. Get a jar of Frisch's tarter sauce and stop by the Alabama Fish. That's the combination.

No Zino's left. Beluga, a sushi restaurant, is now in the space once occupied by Zino's in Hyde Park.

Beluga is the tops, I hear. But I just can't get by the fact that the worst restaurant I have ever been to, The Melting Pot (or, as it should have been known, The Chamber Pot), was in that location. The nice memories of Zino's faded away and sheer disgust and revulsion took its place after one trip to the Chamber Pot.

Maybe I can put this trauma behind me and try Beluga . . . someday.

There was a Zino's in the old firehouse on Old Vine, near UC; great place...and not the only good chow in the area - In Cahoots was good, too. For those with a few less dollars, just down the street was Taco Casa; it'd fill you up with the Taco Salad.

Hyden is on a distinguished road
We lived in Norwood in 63 on Williams Ave. There was a restaurant we would go to sometimes on fridays called "Floods". It was fish ...all you could eat . With a family of 4 kids this was good for us. Floods was on Duck Creek Rd that ran across Williams. Hyden
