Butterfly Shrimp From Heaven.....
I can't remember the name of one of my favorite places over on the west side. I think it was on Glenway. It was a chinese restraunt, and I would always get their butterfly shrimp. Could it have been called the Grand China? Is it still around?

Another Question re: Eateries!
Does anyone remember Pasqualli's Pizza? It wasn'nt in Cinzy, but across the river in KY. It was on the "phill" in Beleview Ky. I'm showing my age, for I'm guessing "the phill" is not a word used today! Are they still there. My parents when I was a little gipper, would get steak hoggies, and the most amazing pizza's there every Sat. Night! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. It was close to the candy making company Schniders! Let me Know!!!!

The Grand China is indeed still in business on Glenway Ave. -- just finished eating there tonight.
Anyone remember the restaurant on top of the highrise apartment building on Matson Place? Was it the Queen's Tower or something like that? Had a great view of downtown!

Never ate there, but I thought it was called "The Sovereign".
Another dinner-with-a-view place was the Celestial, in Mt. Adams.
Since this thread seems to be moving west, here are a couple of
oldies:
Quebec Gardens, near west
Trolley Tavern, way way west

There were several Pasquallis in Cincy. One on the lower level of Swifton Shopping Center in the back.

The Sovereign was a wonderful steak house with one of the best views of Cincinnati at twilight and night, it became the Prima Vista which still is there. In fact, I think I read something recently in the Enquirer about it being refurbished.
On the other side of town is the over priced Celestial in Mt Adams with another great view.
Is the Trolley Tavern still in business?

I'm not sure the question was ever settled, Prime and Wine in Kenwood burnt down. It was rebuilt and was open for a short time before another fire. The rebuilt one is now a Ruby Tuesday's. There is another store actually going in at the old Prime and Wine location.
Pigall's was resurrected in the last few years by the Maissonette's last good chef. He has a whole series of restaurants around town.
Grammer's is open though it mostly a bar right now without much food.

There was also a Howard Johnson's across Montgomery Rd. from the Prime and Wine.
I think it went away when they expanded Pogues/Ayres.
