Stopped by to buy a sub yesterday. First time buying food there. Quality is fine. But I could not believe how small the sub was. Anyone know why they charge so much money ($6.49) for such a small portion of food? I would have gotten about twice as much food for the same price or less in virtually any comparable eatery in the Northeast.

Great observation! Don't get me wrong i love my Larosa's but their subs are pretty pitiful compared say Anthony's in Stoneham MA.

I've been to a sub shop in Florida once that had bigger portions.

It has to be the skimpiest sub I've ever seen for that price. Nothing comes close. Even a 6 inch sub from Subway is probably just as large and costs quite a bit less.

Took a look at the ingredients of the Pizza sauce and the Pasta sauce they apparently market in a jar. Looks like it is all natural. Didn't see any chemical additives which is good. Will have to try some next time I get by there.

So don't buy subs at LaRosa's already. Problem solved.

It's my first time in the place. Need to find out if this is an exception or the norm. It would be in poor taste to ask someone in the restaurant why the size of the sub was so small and if all their subs were this size.

Never had their subs but I heard they were smaller. I love their pizza though. I recently was in the Cinci area and ate it twice in one day.

Check out Angelo's or Italianette. I think you'll be happier.

You go to LaBullBoxer31 for pizza, not subs.
