Default Looking for work.

My fiance and I are thinking about relocating to Cincinnati. I think I may of found a job already, but he is still looking. How does the construction field look? He is a carpenter, but is looking into other trades as well. When does outside construction tend to pick back up? We currently live in South Florida so he is used to all year round work.

I appreciate anyone taking the time to answer. Thank you!

Outdoor construction (and destruction, lol) jobs tend to start opening up in Greater Cincinnati right about now. The weather improves by late March, and stays warm to hot until early October. If your fiance is in a union, he should make inquiries at the hall where you are now. Network network network!

Thanks for the quick answer. Here in SWFL unions are non-existent. I will start trying to find info out on unions up there though.

Default Cincy Construxn Jobs

There are so many building projects they're working through the winter. All over the city work is going on. Revitalization of the downtown, Over-the-Rhine, and Uptown areas has created many new jobs in construction. There's also a massive project about to start between the Reds and Bengals stadiums. You won't be out of work here. Cincy is the center of a 2.2 million metro area.
