No one could believe it, not even the Enquirer who called it inexcusable. But the Bengals have imported the most controversial recruit ever to actually be drafted to an NFL team into their lineup. And, now, until he is cut or incarcerated (which will happen first?), we will have him roaming around the City competing with the previous string of Bengal thugs for the Thug Trophy!

Can't Mike Brown just find someone to give him the billion dollars and get them out of here?

I am sure a mature veteran like Pacman Jones will be there to teach him how to behave like a professional.

The Bengals are in the business of inflicting pain and violence to their competitors. So long as they keep their players out of prison and getting suspended by the league, it's in their best interests to recruit the best players.

The only way to stop teams from hiring thugs is to stop buying tickets and stop watching the games.

Ryan Leaf is out of prison (I think). Maybe the Bengals should sign him too.

In the 2018 Draft, the Bengals should get a defense attorney in the first round.

I'm relieved that I am not a Bengals fan. The only scandalous problems I ever recall cropping up with my two favorite teams (Giants and Dolphins) are the issues with Giant LT (Lawrence Taylor) and the controversial signing of Ndamukong Suh by the Dolphins. Can't recall too many other scandals with either team except after players like Laurence Tynes ended up in trouble after leaving the team. Josh Brown may be an exception. But that pales in comparison to what the Bengals have achieved.

Lots of football players from every team get arrested, yet the media seems to only focus on the ones that play for the Bengals. There was a time around 10 years ago when the Bengals had statistically more, but no team is that different now.

I would not say thug to describe Joe Mixon more like, young and immature, young stupid football players should not be a priority, smart character guys should be drafted more.
