Great! I couldn't stand the thought of not having another Fountain Square West or a Main Street.

Anyone think the Banks might be a bust? I question if the clientele the project will bring in will fit the city demographic, and if it will be the end-all go-to place it should be.

I'd say no ... It's the most valuable piece of property in Southwestern Ohio, Southeastern Indiana, and NoKy. It'll be fine.
If they weren't building so many residential apartments and condos, then that might be another story, but they're basically building the demand right on top of the supply (remember, they doubled their residential base in the new plans) ... add in ~67,000 people every Bengals game and ~15,000-43,000 people every Reds game. Not a bad scenario at all!

the question is though...will the people reflect the city demographic? Most Cincinnatians are either
A: Working class and white
B: Working class and black
I can see a bunch of high class stuff going up down there that eliminates about 80 pct of the city's social desires and financial realm. It is very valuable land, that's why it's such a concern.

I agree. Additionally, Newport is considering a development called Ovation on the opposite shore that could bring even more residents and retail outlets to the riverfront (both sides).

no.
you have claimed that Cincinnati is the third poorest city in the country. How do you fix that?
1. Displace the poor out of the city
2. Increase the number of wealthy people in the city
I think number two is right strategy
