The realtors work with the homeowners to rent houses? Interesting, thanks for the information we will definitely look into Terrace Park, it'll be a big plus to be in an area with other former expats.

Thanks again for the info about various communities, could I ask for some general impressions about the following;

Liberty Township
Fairfield
Mason
Hamilton
Florence, KY

I will of course travel to the region before we decide on a location but it's great to have some background info first, as with the previous info about Wyoming, Glendale etc.

Thanks again.

Additionally; Monroe & Lebanon are nice areas with really good schools. I own rental property in Middletown, although I'm not crazy about the area or the schools (though some people love it).
I, personally would steer away from Princeton Schools. My sister used to teach at the high school and had horror stories from her time there.

Also a great area! (Boy has it really grown since I graduated and moved from there.) My sister now teaches at the High School. Schools are also rated excellent. It's one of the more expensive areas to live, but well worth it. I would rate it equal with West Chester.

I live near Florence KY. It's a booming community, but it might be growing a bit too much. You'd be very close to shopping though.

However, if you can afford it, if you move to the Kentucky side of the river, I'd move to either Ft. Thomas (Highlands School District) or Ft. Mitchell (Beechwood School District). Both are among the top school districts in Kentucky. Both are nice neighborhoods. And both are closer to downtown Cincinnati than Florence.

One community you mentioned that I've heard no comments on...Kenwood. That's also a good part of the community. Kenwood Towne Center is one of the hippest malls in the community. Kenwood is technically not a town in itself. Most of it is part of Sycamore Township (although I think a small part of the City of Madeira is considered to be in Kenwood). Be careful to inquire of what school district you would be in before committing to a place. Most of Kenwood is in the Indian Hill School District (considered to be one of the best in Ohio), although I think parts of Kenwood would be in the Madeira School District, the Sycamore School District (both considered very good) and the Cincinnati School District (which I would stay away from).
