Jerry, I asked Ronnie about the bakery man in the brown truck and he doesn't remember him. This is another one of those times I wish my parents were still around to ask. Was this in the earlier years or after Straford Manor became Eastwood Village? I know one thing the first time I had Little Debbie cakes was at your house during one of the many times I stayed all night with Sandy. I remember also that big jar of red pickled eggs your Mom fixed I guess for your Dad 's bar. I never tried them. But when I was expecting my second child I couldn't get enough of them or ice My husband would bring me one home in his lunch bucket every night when he came home from the coal mines.

Hey Hyden,I talked to my older sister this morning[ who lived on Shelborne] about the milkman.She said his name is Bill.She and her husband went to North Carolina for a gospel music fest. several years ago.He and his wife were there and he recognized her.They sit and talked for quite sometime.What are the odds of that happening?A.F.D.

AFD, WOW!!!! That's amazing. did she give you anything about the Manor that you can share. Jerry said today that the bakery man was in the earlier years about 56-60. I have been trying the last couple days to find Debbie Henderson.

I don't remember a bakery man, but there was a "van" that came into Shawnoe Trail and he made donuts while you watched through the window. You could specify your own toppings. They were so good.

Someone mentioned the African American cemetery. It's called the United Cemetery and I took two pics of it recently. These pics are taken behind where the grocery store and drugstore and barber shop once stood. Now it's 5/3rd Bank. The cemetery is much larger than this shows.
