Personal visits with a bunch of flowers in hand can be a real boost for someone sick. That's not always, of course. I'd ask the floor nurse before I did anything.

The suggestion to ask the hospital before sending flowers is a good one - so many hospitals frown on flowers because of allergies.

But if you get the green light, I like Jones the Florist as well.

A good idea to call ahead. Most reputable florists call the hospital to confirm not only that the patient can receive flowers/candy/ balloons but also that the patient will still be there when the flowers are delivered. I worked for a florist in college and it was something we did every day.

Flowers are a wonderful way of expressing all kinds of emotions and thoughts. Yes, we can send flower bouquets to a person who admitted in hospital. Flowers have power to convey a person feelings and emotions. It helps in bringing smile on their face and make feel better.
