Hi, we are in Mason, OH for the next 2 months for a treatment for my 2 year old son with cerebral palsy. Our au pair is with us and I would love for her to meet some other au pairs to hang out with. She has a large circle of friends at home and loves to experience American culture and go out. I feel bad for her here.

I saw your post about your au pair. We have had live-in nannies and have encountered the same kind of thing. They feel a bit isolated. Unfortunately, I don't have any great solutions. My nannies met people through church. There is a young adult program, I believe, at the Christs Church of Mason. She might try that. Also, if she went through an agency, the agency folks should be able to do a search to find other au pairs in the area. Good luck!
