I would suggest checking out Springer in the Obryonville area. It is specifically dedicated to students with special needs and is located within the city. Stay out of the burbs unless you like everything looking the same and having to drive everywhere. Clifton, Pleasant Ridge, Oakley, Hyde Park are just a few of the wonderful neighborhoods in the central city.

If you are still looking, you should def. look at somewhere in the Mariemont School District. My best friend (before she moved here) did work on behalf so special needs families, and has a special needs daughter herself, as well as a gifted child. She researched for months and settled on the Mariemont School District. She actually decided to live in Terrace Park, but either Terrace Park or Mariemont would be fine. She has been here 3 years and not a week goes by where she doesn't tell me how happy she was with her decision.
