Default Wedding photo locales?

I am getting married April 12 in Price Hill with our reception in Covington. We plan to have our pictures done at the little park in Covington, right on the river and almost a block from the Licking River. My concern is if it rins we dont have a backup location that is indoors. Does anyone have any suggestions on a free, public place that wont be to crowded on a Saturday, early afternoon, that we can have our pictures done? I thought about Krohn Conservatory but I am hoping to get some more ideas.

I wonder if the Museum Center would allow you to take pictures in the rotunda. That would be way cool.

I thought about there but i figured it would be packed with people given its a Saturday. Last thing I want is for a bunch of people in the background.

In Eastern Europe, wedding parties go to a number of locations for their wedding pictures. Everyone generally hits the same places, and you can run across four or five wedding parties, plus the general public, at most any of the spots on a wedding day. It's total chaos, but everyone is beautiful and celebrating, and it works. While this is not a US tradition, my experience as an observer is that people LOVE wedding photos. I think you'll be given the space you want and need to get the photos you want.... with a lot of onlookers and well-wishers. Union Terminal would be a FABULOUS place for photos, and the experience would end up leaving you, and everyone else, really happy as a result.

We saw two wedding parties at Spring Grove Cometary. Who would have thought that would happen?

Yeah, but that's not indoors so it wouldn't fit the poster's needs.

Same with Mt. Rumpke.
