Monroe has Open Enrollment (schools, living, office)

The Monroe Board of Education will start accepting applications for open enrollment for the 2008-09 school year for students in grades 9-12 living outside the district.

Applications will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Tuesday, April 1, through May 30, at the district's board of education office at 231 Macready Ave., behind the Monroe Primary building.

Applications must be picked up and returned in person, school officials said. No application received by mail will be accepted, they said.
