most "lists" are logically questionable. some cities are better than others, but a "livable" list isn't the way to find out. but if you want to sell a magazine, you better get crackin' on that list. a list. any list.

hillside, I agree with you 100%. I pretty much just posted that for the sake of Cincy-Rise. I knew it would give him something to do tonight. lol
Lists don't mean s**t. Experience does. I lived in Cincy for 24 years. Moved to Charlotte a decade ago because I thought it was a nicer, cleaner, safer, more progressive city, but again that's just my opinion. Very similar to Columbus (I think that is where you said you live now???). Anyways, it's all in fun.
I will say this, Ciny-Rise, if you don't work for the Chamber of Commerce, you've missed your calling. I love your passion!

i agree with everything you listed about charlotte. i do believe charlotte can't compete with cincinnati as far as being a true urban center with a visible heritage, but let's face it, cincinnati has to get its act together in a big way to get where a city as old as cincinnati should be. i've never been, but i've heard it's like columbus. columbus is cool, but here's the big shocker - i'm partial to really old cities. i want cinti to come up as much as anybody, but reality is reality.

Amen.
There are things about a city that can be changed and then there are things that a city simply cannot imitate.

So in other words Cincinnati is a buyers market. Cool this time and age.
